Jeromy continues to roll out his 10-point plan with a promise to pursue a “One-to-One” Red Tape Reduction policy.

If elected Mayor, I will push for a One-to-One Red Tape Reduction policy to make life easier for entrepreneurs. This means that for every regulation added, one is eliminated,” Jeromy said.

“My top priority is getting Calgarians back to work. That’s why I’m committed to removing roadblocks such as onerous permit applications and unnecessary hoops for entrepreneurs to jump through. City Hall must roll out the red carpet, rather than the red tape, for our job creators,” Jeromy continued.

By reducing the red tape burden, we will make Calgary more business-friendly, increase citizen satisfaction and reduce the cost of interacting with city services. This will improve daily life and incentivize investment in our city.

Every day I hear from entrepreneurs who are frustrated by doing business in this city. Simple things like permit approvals often take months or years, instead of days or weeks. Calgarians are ready for change. It’s time to make doing it easier to do business,” Jeromy concluded.
